About Belle Vue Young Farmers

The Belle Vue Young farmers group was brought about due to the lack of young persons interested in agriculture. Most young adults view Agriculture as something for the less educated individuals, hence, our main objective at Belle Vue Young Farmers is to show young persons how agriculture can be beneficial to them and how they can make a difference through agriculture. What better way to do so than giving hands on experience with farming. Our group is planning on planting crops which are in demand in St. Lucia. Also rearing livestock, adding value to the crops that we cultivate. By this way we will be giving the community and country an opportunity to eat healthier, and encouraging not only young person but adults as well to support their own. As the saying goes "Eat what you grow and grow what you eat". We wish to encourage more young persons to jump aboard and help save agriculture in St. Lucia.
